Brooks Kochvar has spent the last decade at the intersection of public policy, politics, and public opinion; developing communications and advertising strategies for both political and public affairs campaigns.
Brooks has served as chief of staff to two Members of Congress including four years for Deputy Republican Whip and House Transportation Committee Member, Congressman Chris Chocola. Additionally, he was Deputy Chief of Staff to United States Senator Gordon Smith, a member of the Senate Finance, and the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committees.
Immediately prior to joining GSSG, Brooks managed Senator Kelly Ayotte’s successful campaign for the U.S. Senate, and headed up her transition. During his career, Brooks has overseen production of more than 150 television ads, hundreds of mail pieces, and conducted hundreds of surveys. Kochvar has taught campaign management, strategy, and tactics in Africa, the Middle East, and throughout the United States.
Brooks currently resides in Boise, ID with his wife Rebecca and their son.
